Hot America babe - Carla Gugino

I have yet to see Sin City. Although I'd readily admit that Jessica Alba's hot and I've had her listed earlier as a Hot American babe, I'm starting to like Carla Gugino better in terms of hotness.

Ms Gugino has a presense to her. As Hollywood almost never shows parents to be sexy, she was one sexy mother in the Spy Kids movie. Of course, Robert Rodriguez knows sexy. He knows how to bring out a woman's sexiness. Salma Hayek for example was soooo sexy in her two movies with Mr. Rodriguez. She's boring everywhere else.

But Ms Gugino's always sexy. She's sexy in She Creature, a horror movie where she's running from a mythical beast. She's sexy in Spy Kids as a wife, mother, and a spy. I'm willing to bet she was sexy in Sin City as well.

So Ms Gugino, you're welcome in my anti-zombie compound any time. Don't worry, my mermaids are just animatronics and won't try to eat you.

Is Rodriquez the guy that did the desperado movies with Antonio Banderas and I think Johnny Depp was also in the second one...

Yup. That was Rodriguez. Oh, that makes 3 movies then that Rodriguez filmed Salma Hayek. He also directed From Dusk 'Til Dawn. I forgot about Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Despite having Depp (my fav actor currently), I don't think it was as good as Desperado.

mermaid animitronics? that's awesome. can you make them have soft rubbery skin so i can cuddle up next to them without getting cold?

and what are their names? you should call one of them sheila. that seems like a good mermaid name.

Melanie - and one of mine as well. Well, you wouldn't want to be eaten by the mermaids in that movie. The whole hot babe thing is just one of their powers. They're actually rather hideous.

Dave - It depends on how much you're willing to spend. The material that they use for the dolls at something like Real Doll (don't open that link at work by the way) is very expensive. Sure it looks real, feels close to flesh, and even retains heat, but we'll be talking about three times the price of a normal animatronic. But don't worry, I won't be buying any paper mache cheap a** mermaid animatronics either. So it depends on how much money I still have after the compound gets built.

As for Sheila, yeah, I think I'll call the first one Sheila. That should be a post in itself. What should I call my mermaid animatronics (3 total)? What should I call the pirates?

She was in a nice short-lived TV series based on the J-Lo character from Out Of Sight. TV viewers got no taste; shoulda been a hit.

Jason - I heard that was a good show. Never saw it though.

Zombieslayer,
Yes, Carla Gugino is a younger version of Melanie Griffith ... or Melanie Griffith (as I know of her) 'gone hot.'

She did look great in Sin City especially the scene when ... well, just go see it (you HAVE to).

Exmi - Yikes. I survived, but didn't get a good score. I wish they'd explain which were the "right" answers, because I'm sure I would have disagreed with some of those scenarios.

Cultureshocked - don't worry, the minute that DVD comes out, it's mine. The Mrs. and I went to see it once, but it was already out of the theatres. Bummer. And yes, I'm well-aware of the nudie scene. Definitely looking forward to that.

I first saw her in a movie with Pauley Shore called Son-in-Law.

Hot then, hot now.

Robert - that smile. As much as I don't like Pauly Shore (the only reason he became famous is because of his mother), I would have seen that movie just to see her. He did make me laugh once though while doing stand-up, he did an impersonation of his father after Pauly came back from college. "I spent thirty thousand dollars on college and all you managed to do was learn how to flip a quarter into a glass?"

Zombie - I just don't understand how the other half can think brains taste good. I hate brains (I've had pig and goat). The only thing that tastes worse than brains is liver. Brains have a bitterness to them that won't go away until you've washed it down with a lot of pineapple or coconut juice with rum. Yuck.

Or maybe after you're dead, everything flip flops and what tastes bad while you're alive now tastes good. Hmmm...

Jenn - No arguments from me.
