The Zombieslayer - a mixed drink?
I'm not much of a wine drinker. Nothing against wine, but Mrs. Zombieslayer doesn't like it so if I open up a bottle, I have to finish it myself. That's no fun.
She likes a good beer. She prefers something smooth and light, like a Corona or Sierra Nevada Wheat. I personally like Texas' Shiner Boch and England's Newcastle Brown Ale, but I enjoy Sierra Nevada as well.
I like rum. She does too. When we went on our first cruise a few years ago, we drank happy rum drinks with everything. Man, that was one fun week. Nothing like sitting in the adult hot tub (nothing against kids, except in water they go pee pee) with my lovely wife, some other hot chicks, and a big rum drink. Yes, there were several adult hot tubs but for some reason, we always ended up in the hot tub with hot chicks. Wonder why.
However my favorite drink is 2 parts cream or whole milk, depending on whether or not I'm stocking the ice box with cream, one part Kahlua, and one part Baileys. Shake it up with no ice and enjoy. Yummy. That's my favorite mixed drink. I'm hoping it doesn't have a name for it yet. Any bartenders out there? If not, it will hence forth be known as The Zombieslayer, a drink that will give you a good zombie fighting buzz without making you too incapacitated to kill zombies accurately.

I'm a big fan of Citron flavored vodka and Grapefruit juice - simple, tasty and great on a hot day. Margarita on the rocks is good too. Not a big rum fan, but I'll have a hurricane every now and again. Red wine & beer (Blue Moon or Bass) are good too.
[side note: Don't kid yourself, there must be adults that go pee pee in the water too... and hot tubs are bad for kids anyway since their hearts aren't strong enough to take the increased blood pressure.]
not a big beer fan. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat or Corona for me. I love wine. And martinis. And certain maragaritas.
No drinks with Bailey's, kahlua, and milk/cream, but a few with some of those ingredients (Bailey's/Kahlua, Milk/Kalhua, Milk/Bailey's, etc.)
HATE beer and tequila! Other than that I like pretty much everything. I favor rum and coke, although I'm a wussy drinker(I mix a 1/2 shot of rum in a 22 oz glass)
I do enjoy an occasional White Russian, Pina Colada, Pink Squirrel of Brandy Alexander; so your drink invention sounds pretty good.
Love Tequila. The fantasy-man in me always goes for some expensive Patron ... however I do often settle for Cuervo.
CICLON (Bacardi Rum + Blue Agave Tequila + a 'hint of lime') is an awesome drink. Cool bottle.
These days, I'm over my love for beer. Favorties are/were Negra Modelo and Modelo especial. Michelob (amber bock) for domestic stuff.

It depends what mood I'm in. Most times, I like wine, but occasionally I'll have a beer. I've gotten sick off of hard alcohol (like shots) and I now shy away from that. I love margaritas - never can go wrong with those.

Oh well, I guess I'm just going to have to get famous in my exploits against the zombies.
Anything with Bailey's and/or Kahlua is good for me. I don't like beer much, but Dos Equis is my new fav for that. Heather, I don't like the taste of alcohol either usually, which is why I don't like wine, but I like mixed drinks where you can hide the taste.
My husband has opened my eyes to the virtues of wine. An occasional beer is okay, but my favorite is a frozen mudslide.
A B-52 is Bailey's, Kahlua, and Amaretto.
You're still in luck.
I enjoy beers of all kinds, and the occasional shot of Wild Turkey, or Jack Daniels.
funny how guys refer to their wives as "lovely" and chicks as "hot"...I am lovely AND hot! hehe :-) Anyway, back to your post...my mother used to wait until the gallon of milk was half empty and then she would pour a whole bunch of liquor into and make a gallon of white russians...This is why I love drinkig out of the milk carton! hehe
If I had to drink beer, it'd be a Corona with a lime wedge squeezed into it and then dropped down the neck/ maybe even a hint of salt. It's tasty.
But I like a glass of wine if I'm going to drink, or an ultra girly drink like pina colodas or something froo-froo and sparkling. I like champagne but only if it's not a brut. Astispumonte (sp) is a good one with seafood.
My husband drinks plain old vodka tonics. Bleck! I like Midori sours, margaritas or anything else with Midori in it...
forget the sugar bombs...
Instead go with:
Stoli, rocks, squeez o' lime, splash of water.
I like a beer during the warmer weather, socialising i'll drink wine if it is offered, but my most favored tipple is JW or ordinary scotch if JW is unavailable or a VAT or a Jim Beam or a J Daniels or a Wild turkey or a Gin and tonic or a Capt Morgan rum or a brandy and something or what ever you have it will do fine.
But I never drink until the sun goes down over the yardarm. my last alcoholic drink was five days ago, my next due to all this prompting will be very soon. 7:00PM AUS EST
